Very Very Important Meeting

I know setting in Alma, AR USA it's very hard to think GLOBALLY.

I am taking a vacation this week and will miss Rotary Wednesday. So I am asking you to not only come but bring a guest and take notes and listen closely so you can tell me all about the program.

I am asking this as a personal favor.

Please respond to me by return e-mail by noon tomorrow if you will be in attendance.

Please remember that if you haven’t already paid your dues that were due in January you need to do so as soon as possible, we have to send these dues to Rotary International and they were due by the end of February.

Also remember that Wednesday is the deadline for purchasing your tickets to lunch with the President JOHN KENNY, so if you want to purchase a ticket please contact Rosemary Blasingame no later than Wednesday to reserve a seat. Thank you.

Marc McCune reports on criminal prosecutions

Prosecuting Attorney for the 21st Judicial District, Marc McCune, briefed the Alma Rotary Club on the many activities of his office at their March 4th meeting. Using a graphic slide presentation showing the harsh and often heartbreaking results of local criminal activity, McCune explained that the number one drug problem is Crawford County is illegal prescription drug use. The County is still making between 20 and 30 drug arrests each month. The Prosecuting Attorney's office also deals with criminal activities of all types including domestic violence, child abuse, animal cruelty and a large volume of worthless checks.

For more information about the activities of the prosecutor's office see: http://co.crawford.ar.us
